Pagan friendly Halloween movies ( and a few favorites that aren't pagan friendly but we love them anyway)

By Pagan friendly, I don't mean that they accurately portray witches, some don't even mention them. I simply mean the witches are either "good" or in some way show that not all witches (or any) are evil. A few on the list DO NOT fit that description, but I will list them as saying they're not pagan friendly. If they are followed by * Then I have not seen them myself, but was given them as a suggestion. As I haven't seen them, I do not know if they are Pagan friendly or not.

Movies:
  • Practical Magic
  • The Craft
  • Hocus Pocus (So not pagan friendly. But you can't help but love it!)
  • The Covenant
  • Halloweentown
  • Halloweentown 2, Kalabars Revenge
  • Halloweentown High
  • Return to Halloweentown
  • Twitches
  • Twitches 2
  • My Babysitter's A Vampire (my bad, the grandma isn't a witch, she's an "earth priestess" lol. )
  • Beetlejuice
  • A Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Corpse Bride
  • Sleepy Hallow (May or may not be pagan friendly based on your views)
  • Teen Witch*
  • The Scary Godmother Cartoons.
  • Scooy-Doo and the Ghoul School
  • Bell, Book, and Candle*
  • The Good Witch*
  • The Skeleton Key*
  • The Black Cauldron*
  • Little Bear: Halloween Stories (Haven't seen the episodes in a long time, but was told Goblin night was especially pagan friendly)
  • Harry Potter series
  • Scooby-Doo and the Witches Ghost
  • Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King
  • The Addams Family
  • Edward Scissorhands
  • It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

Television:
  • Charmed -- season 3, episode 4 "All Halliwell's Eve" but the entire series as well.
  • My Babysitter's A Vampire series
  • Little Bear-- "Goblin Night" (see above)
  • Ghostbuster's halloween episode*

Have a suggestion you don't see on the list? Leave it as a comment below and I'll add it! I'll update the post periodically between now and Halloween!

Blessed Be!

Blessed Be!

I've wanted to do this for some time now, so in the spirit of the upcoming Samhain, I'm starting my own little piece of magick on the web. The purpose of this blog is to tell a bit about my own studies and workings, as well as share practical tips, folklore, etc. for the seasons and sabbats.
